Position Overview

Further your career at Ball Corporation, a world leader in sustainable aluminum packaging and manufacturing. In this 10-week internship, you will gain practical experience in the manufacture, product development, and application of metal containers within a global R&D organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Learn and apply detailed laboratory methods for package and product performance analysis.
  • Support a multinational team of engineers and managers in various product development efforts.
  • Work with experts including Mechanical Engineers, Chemists, Food Scientists, Metallurgists, and more.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts using techniques such as Electro Impedance Spectroscopy and method validation.
  • Generate laboratory data, analysis, and reporting across chemical, analytical, and pilot facilities.
  • Participate in professional development activities at corporate headquarters in Colorado.

What We Are Seeking

Current students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Materials Science or a related field with at least one year of coursework completed. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. The ideal candidate is proficient in mathematical calculations and basic engineering principles, familiar with statistical analysis, skilled in Microsoft Office, and eager to learn new tools and processes.

Compensation & Benefits
