Responsibilities

Due to the continued growth of our consulting practice, we are actively recruiting for Epic Application Analysts / Consultants to join our Epic Practice within the Digital Solutions Healthcare team. This role offers the support of a global brand within an entrepreneurial environment, allowing you to leverage your industry and technical experience across a wide range of client services. As a member of our team, you will contribute significantly to growing the business, serving clients, developing talent, and shaping our culture.

Our Epic Practice team members possess expertise in one or more Epic applications, including but not limited to: EpicCare Ambulatory, Inpatient, ClinDoc, MyChart, ASAP, OpTime, Beacon, Willow Inpatient/Ambulatory/Inventory, Beaker, Cupid, Stork, Radiant, Lumens, Wisdom, Bones, Kaleidoscope, Dorothy, Comfort, Research, HB, PB, Claims, SBO, Tapestry, Contracts Reimbursement, Grand Central, Cadence, Prelude, Cogito, Caboodle, Clarity, Reporting Workbench, Healthy Planet, ECSA, ECSM, ODBA, Hyperspace, Hyperdrive, EpicCare Link, Bridges, Pedigree, Compass Rose, Data Courier, Community Connect, Radar, and Slicer Dicer.

We have supported Epic environments at healthcare providers across the US since 2006. As an Application Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrating significant knowledge of Epic implementations, upgrades, and optimizations.
  • Understanding functionality and methodology crucial for successful Epic projects.
  • Planning, designing/building, testing, implementing, and supporting Epic EHR needs.
  • Participating in cross-functional teams to ensure integration and alignment of build, process design, and workflow configuration.
  • Leading or facilitating requirements gathering and workflow analysis.
  • Leading or providing support during testing, training, and implementation of applications.
  • Identifying issues with workflows and build, then developing effective remediation solutions.
  • Providing support to business operations or clinical end-users.
  • Mentoring, training, and guiding IT members at client sites.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert in assigned Epic applications.
  • Counseling client teams on best practices.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of Epic application updates and improvements, and maintaining required Epic certifications (NVTs and CEEs).
  • Ensuring tasks remain on schedule.
  • Utilizing entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and Epic.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be accepted.
  • Five plus years of Epic implementation experience, encompassing design, build, and configuration.
  • Current Epic certification is required, and candidates must be in good standing with Epic.
  • Proven ability to deliver consulting services remotely or onsite at client locations.
  • Related healthcare experience, operational or clinical, is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Highly developed MS Office skills (Word, Excel, SharePoint) are essential.
  • Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, and commit to continuous learning.
  • Capability to see the 'big picture' as well as details, uphold ethical standards, and demonstrate urgency and commitment to quality and timely project completion.
  • Adept at developing tailored solutions for unique problems and issues.
  • Excellent project coordination and management skills.
  • Demonstrated strengths in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem-solving.
