Job Responsibilities

As an Analyst, Risk Management, you will be integral to the Firm's conflict clearing and client acceptance processes. This involves reviewing proposed engagements across various service lines to identify and assess potential conflicts that could jeopardize the Firm's finances, reputation, or client relationships. The role requires real-time risk analysis, practical problem-solving, and the ability to build effective relationships with senior decision-makers across the Firm.

  • Research new projects using available online resources, including court websites, to perform in-depth conflict analysis.
  • Conduct comprehensive database research for new projects to identify potential conflicts risking the Firm's assets or relationships.
  • Facilitate the timely resolution of any identified potential conflicts.
  • Ensure the highest level of data integrity within the conflict check database and client intake system.
  • Support and assist with strategic projects aimed at enhancing technology related to the conflict check system.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of prior experience preferred in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Possess strong analytical, technical, and organizational skills with a keen emphasis on detail.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to professional growth and a willingness to learn or take on new skills.

Compensation Information

The national pay rate range for this position is $67,360 to $102,150. For candidates in California, the pay rate range is $77,810 to $102,150. Actual compensation will be influenced by various relevant factors including the applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees/certifications, work arrangements, and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
