Experienced Litigation Paralegal

About the Role

Baker Donelson is seeking an Experienced Litigation Paralegal to support trial counsel across all phases of litigation. This role may be based at any office location within the firm's footprint and offers flexibility including remote work with occasional travel for training, trial preparation, and in-person events.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery materials, and litigation documents.
• Conduct factual investigations and assist attorneys with depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
• Manage, organize, and review complex litigation documents, with proficiency in Relativity or similar platforms.
• Utilize electronic and paper filing procedures in state and federal courts following relevant court rules.
• Maintain accurate billable hours records and support trial proceedings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
• Minimum of five years of litigation experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Asana, and document review platforms.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional Information

This role requires willingness to work overtime and travel as necessary. Candidates must have minimum authorization to work in the United States. Baker Donelson offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid leave, new parent benefits, and 401(k) matching. Applicants in New Jersey, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. can expect a salary range of $85,000 - $97,500.
