Experienced Litigation Paralegal at Baker Donelson
Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, & Berkowitz, P.C. is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal. The role offers flexibility including remote work with occasional travel for training, trial preparation, and in-person events.
Qualifications & Responsibilities
Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program along with at least five years of litigation experience. The role requires a proven ability to work independently, strong document management skills, and proficiency in using document review platforms such as Relativity.
- Draft litigation documents including pleadings and discovery materials
- Conduct factual investigations and support trial preparations
- Assist in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials
- Manage electronic and paper filing procedures in state and federal courts
- Maintain accurate records of billable hours
Preferred Tools & Skills
Candidates with experience in Microsoft Teams, Asana, and effective legal research are preferred. Strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and superior written and oral communication are essential.
Benefits & Additional Information
Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, vision, life, long-term disability insurance, paid medical leave, new parent benefits, paid time off, and 401(k) matching. The salary range for New Jersey, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. applicants is $85,000 - $97,500.
