We are seeking a part-time, contract Technical Copywriter specializing in backend engineering topics for our company blog. In this role, you will produce 1 to 2 long-form ghostwritten articles per month, targeting senior technical audiences and optimized for SEO. Your content should be clear, structured, and include practical examples, avoiding generic or promotional language.
What You'll Do:
- Write 2–3 backend-focused long-form blog articles per month (1,500–2,500 words).
- Translate complex backend topics into practical, readable guidance with clear structure and examples.
- Ensure technical correctness by validating terminology, architecture claims, and performance statements.
- Naturally incorporate SEO fundamentals, including search intent, headings, and linking suggestions.
- Revise drafts based on editorial feedback while maintaining accuracy and clarity.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience writing long-form technical content for engineering audiences (blog/editorial, not brand copy).
- Backend technical fluency from hands-on engineering experience.
- Ability to independently research, sanity-check, and cite sources.
