Team and Role Overview

You will join the Data Science & Machine Learning Engineering guild within the AI, Insights & Solutions team. In this multidisciplinary group, you will leverage deep technical expertise alongside business acumen to help clients solve transformative challenges. You will work with consulting teams and clients to develop data-driven strategies and innovative solutions using data science techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business problems into structured data science initiatives.
  • Develop data acquisition, transformation, and management tools.
  • Prototype, test, and deploy diverse machine learning models.
  • Build reusable frameworks and components for various industries.
  • Maintain high code quality and model reproducibility.
  • Keep up to date on emerging data science techniques.
  • Travel regionally as required by projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field or relevant experience.
  • 2+ years in data science or advanced analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python; additional languages a plus.
  • Understanding of GenAI concepts including LLMs and semantic search.
  • Experience with ML libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
  • Strong foundation in mathematics and statistics.
  • Professional fluency in English and German.
