Junior DevOps Engineer (AWS & PHP Stack)

Bahwan CyberTek is seeking a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to the management and optimization of our cloud infrastructure, focusing on an AWS and PHP stack. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of our applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing AWS resources including EC2, RDS, S3, and VPC configurations.
  • Utilize Chef to automate server provisioning and maintain consistency across environments.
  • Configure and optimize Nginx for high-performance PHP-FPM application delivery.
  • Maintain and monitor deployment pipelines to ensure stable code releases for our PHP applications.
  • Use CloudWatch and other native tools to monitor system health and proactively identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Implement best practices for IAM roles, security groups, and encryption-at-rest.
