About the role
Team Lead - SEO (Performance)
Baheri Media is looking for an experienced SEO Group Head. You will handle high-profile clients and ensure the optimization of their SEO campaigns to attract and engage visitors that convert into business.

Measures of Success
- Take the lead role in medium- to large SEO projects and work closely with the client service team/lead to proactively account manage clients and develop strategies for clients.
- Support the management and accountability for the delivery of all SEO campaigns.
- Act as the first point of escalation (internal and/or external) for SEO.
- Equip the team to cater to emerging offerings such as GEO, AEO, YouTube SEO, Reddit SEO, and Marketplace SEO to clients.
- Ensure SEO Workflow & search engine algorithm compliance.
- Develop strategic relationships with some of our key clients.
- Develop innovative new approaches and strategies to maximize clients’ website strategies' success.
- Renew SEO accounts for 100% of existing businesses.
- Help in growing the business by 25%.
- Educate internal teams and clients on SEO developments and the evolution of Baheri’s SEO offerings.
Responsibilities of the Role
- Direct reporting to the SEO Practice Lead & Baheri’s Founder on project progress, 1-on-1 meetings, resources, costs, renewals, & sales pipeline.
- Address escalations, review and implement strategic changes to the client & team’s problem statements on an ongoing basis.
- Manage the workload and training for individuals within your SEO team.
- Regulate training modules and new developments.
- Support the management and accountability for the delivery of all SEO campaigns.
- Keep abreast of algorithm changes and their impact on clients’ SEO strategies.
- Create and/or update SEO product procedures where applicable, and support documentation, keeping this information updated as the market & technology changes.
- Overall management and accountability for the delivery of Baheri’s SEO campaigns / projects.
- Meet and service key clientele on a regular basis.
We are looking for you, if you have:
- An excellent work ethic, problem-solving, and proficient time management skills.
- The ability to collaborate and develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues around the business.
- A solid understanding and working knowledge of Information Architectures, HTML, XML, Schema, PHP, ASP, .NET, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL Databases, CMS systems (WordPress, Shopify etc.).
- Solid understanding of Content Marketing and backlink analysis utilizing existing and new vendors.
- A creative and inquisitive mind, showcasing creative thinking to develop strong case studies and results.
- Prior agency experience (added advantage).
It is preferable to have a candidate from Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, or Hyderabad. Coworking arrangements can be considered where required.
