About the Role: Senior Data Engineer - MDM
This position is responsible for translating business requirements into technical design specifications and supporting the development and deployment of Master Data Management solutions under an ITIL framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements and rules into technical design specifications.
- Develop and deploy MDM solutions and data services.
- Create conformed data models over multidimensional and relational data sets.
- Enforce data governance policies and data quality rules.
- Integrate and maintain MDM governance across customer communities.
- Investigate incidents to meet service level agreements and communicate with customers.
- Support the MDM Team Leader by mentoring junior colleagues.
Required Skills & Experiences
Essential qualifications include an IT/Computer Science related degree, or experience in a Business Data/MDM environment. Candidates must have experience with customer-focused data projects, design specifications, data modeling, integration, and quality improvements using SQL and other related tools.
Desirable skills include hands-on experience with MDM tools like Semarchy, TIBCO EBX, Informatica, and ETL tools like SSIS, as well as supporting data products.
