Job Details

Job Title: Principal Integration Engineer - Trials Co-ordinator

Location: Scotstoun, Glasgow.

Salary: Circa £60,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and manage the Type 26 Combat Systems Trials programme including Acceptance, Assurance, and Integration Trials.
  • Implement and coordinate activities including personnel allocation, resource booking, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Optimize use of the Land-Based Integration Facility time and engage with relevant Naval offices.
  • Develop a trials programme aligning with Ship Build plans and facility trials.
  • Collaborate with the IT&T Project Manager to monitor trials programmes within the overall Type 26 Plan.
  • Support Delivery Managers with specialist engineering expertise and toolset development.

Your skills and experiences:

Essential: Ability to plan and execute complex trial programmes, effective coordination, trial schedule development, and strong communication skills.

Desirable: Knowledge of Combat System Equipment (CSE), experience with database tools like ELM and JIRA, and understanding of engineering standards and codes.
