Senior Targeting Officer

Job Overview

BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Targeting Officer to support a client’s operational requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Applicants must hold an active clearance with Polygraph, and possess significant experience in intelligence operations and targeting support.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will collaborate with a team of intelligence professionals and work independently when needed. Your tasks include:

• Reviewing operational traffic for intelligence leads.
• Drafting comprehensive targeting packages.
• Engaging with customer components and addressing targeting requirements.
• Conducting detailed searches on items of operational interest.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have at least a BA or BS degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. Experience with targeting, operational case management, and working with classified and open source databases is essential. Prior involvement with HUMINT and technical operations or familiarity with the Intelligence Community is required.

Preferred Skills

Additional expertise in counter threat finance, counterterrorism, counternarcotics, and counterproliferation is beneficial. Experience in interpreting financial data and understanding global finance, including cryptocurrency and international economics, is a plus.
