Introduction

BAE Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager - Remote Eligible to lead technology projects across IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and compliance environments on cloud and on-premises systems.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will manage multiple concurrent IT projects and ensure end-to-end execution through all phases: planning, analysis, execution, delivery, stabilization, and benefit realization. Responsibilities include portfolio strategy development, risk mitigation, vendor management, and cross-boundary integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop business cases and project execution strategies
  • Create work breakdown structures and manage resource schedules
  • Identify and mitigate risks proactively
  • Manage vendor relationships and organizational change
  • Ensure strong stakeholder and customer engagement

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 8 years experience with a Bachelor’s Degree and PMP Certification required. Proven track record managing IT projects, using agile methodologies, and expertise in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong leadership, customer focus, and communication skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Agile Certification, Aerospace & Defense experience, Earned Value Management expertise, and familiarity with ServiceNow SPM are preferred.
