About the Role
At BAE Systems, the work you do will help protect those who protect us. As a Scheduler II on our Ship Repair team, you will develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules for both US Government and Commercial contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, track, analyze and report on project schedules.
- Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to monitor work flow.
- Create schedules using Deltek Open Plan to support DoD and Commercial Contracts.
- Provide schedule analysis and risk identification with weekly deliverables.
- Maintain communication with Customers, Project Managers, and team members.
- Prepare schedule narratives and "what if" scenarios for growth work.
- Ensure compliance with scheduling procedures and quality standards.
Requirements
Typically a Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of work experience or equivalent combined experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera or Open Plan is required. Must be able to read blueprints and technical documents, with strong communication and organizational skills. U.S. Naval Ship Repair experience and PMI-SP Certification are preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
This full-time position offers competitive salary packages between $66,084 and $112,343 along with a range of benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), and other employee assistance programs.
