About the Role
The Cyber Security Specialist at BAE Systems is responsible for implementing and maintaining advanced security measures on a critical infrastructure and services program. This role involves conducting security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing, all tailored to the high-security DevOps and sustainment support framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain advanced security measures.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
- Monitor network and system activity; respond to security incidents.
- Develop and enforce robust security policies and procedures.
- Provide specialized cybersecurity training to personnel.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure systems development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 9-13 years experience or 4 additional years in lieu of degree. Must hold one of the following certifications: CompTIA CySA+, CompTIA Security+, GIAC GSEC, CISM, or CASP+.
Compensation & Benefits
