Role Overview - Temporary Associate Buyer
As a Temporary Associate Buyer at Babylist, you will support the buying team in executing category strategies and managing daily operations. Responsibilities include maintaining supplier relationships, assisting with vendor onboarding and negotiations, and ensuring product and pricing accuracy across systems. You will work cross-functionally with Inventory Management, Operations, and Site Merchandising to support assortment planning, promotional strategies and catalog management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product setup, item creation, and assortment updates
- Serve as a key point of contact for vendor communications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for accurate product information
- Monitor category performance and inventory through regular reporting
- Research market trends and competitive assortments
Who You Are
You bring 3-4 years of experience in buying, merchandising, or category management, ideally in e-commerce. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at data analysis and cross-team communication. Enthusiasm for consumer products, innovation, and market trends is key in this hands-on role.

Additional Information
