Role Overview
Babylist is seeking a Senior Software Engineer Fulfillment & Operations with deep experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as HighJump/Korber, Manhattan, or Blue Yonder. In this role, you will modernize and internalize the warehouse technology stack, optimize fulfillment operations, and lead the development of new logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the internal expert for our WMS solutions.
- Design, implement and deploy solutions to improve fulfillment center efficiency.
- Translate real-world challenges into technical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including the Technical Product Manager.
- Mentor team members in design, architecture, and code reviews.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of software engineering experience delivering end-to-end solutions.
- Extensive experience in SQL and Ruby on Rails.
- Proven ability to work independently and thrive in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a growth mindset.

Additional Information
This role may require occasional travel to the Fulfillment Center in Ohio (1–2 times per year). Compensation is market-based; salary for this role ranges from CAD 165,700 to CAD 207,100 based on experience and location.
