The Role: Data Analyst

We are seeking a Data Analyst with a strong focus on SQL Server and Business Intelligence tools. This role is crucial for developing analytical solutions that transform raw data into strategic business information. You will combine technical skills in databases, ETL processes, and data visualization, working within agile environments and collaborating closely with both technical and functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop analytical solutions using SQL, R, or Python.
• Design and maintain basic database structures.
• Implement extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Optimize SQL queries and processes to enhance performance.
• Resolve defects related to SQL code and database performance.
• Support Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives and enterprise data analysis.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to interpret analytical requirements.
• Generate visualizations and reports using tools such as Power BI.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies and iterative processes.

Mandatory Requirements

• University Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
• At least 1 year of formal work experience in analytics or databases.
• Experience with Microsoft Data Tools 2015 or higher.
• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or higher.
• Proficiency in creating and modifying SQL objects.
• Ability to optimize queries and use SQL profiler.
• Experience with Integration Services (SSIS).
• Competence in handling stored procedures and Transact-SQL.
• Knowledge of security schemas in SQL Server.
• Proficiency in visualization tools like Power BI.
• Basic knowledge of data preparation tools such as Alteryx.
• Basic knowledge of programming tools for analytics like R or Python.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure.
• Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
