Role Overview: VP, Franchise Portfolio Management

This role is part of the Strategic Portfolio Management function. The VP plans, builds, and manages a balanced product portfolio through its entire lifecycle, ensuring alignment with Azurity’s 5-year financial model. The ideal candidate will oversee product ideation, development, market launch, enhancements, and eventual withdrawal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain deep subject matter expertise using primary and secondary research.
  • Ideate, select, and advance products from development to launch.
  • Drive stage-gate processes with cross-functional A3 teams.
  • Develop a balanced strategic plan for product categories.
  • Collaborate with BD to supplement the internal portfolio with external partnerships.

Ideal Experience and Skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and cross-functional leadership.
  • Strong pharmaceutical drug development and lifecycle management expertise.
  • Expertise in product selection, TPP creation, and financial modeling.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceuticals or related field.

  • Disciplined decision-making and ability to make trade-off decisions.
  • Effective communication bridging scientific and commercial domains.

Physical & Mental Requirements

Must be able to sit for long periods, stand, walk, talk, lift up to 25 pounds, and manipulate standard office equipment.
