Your Impact as Senior Site Reliability Engineer

As a member of the APX SRE organization, you will deliver practical, scalable solutions to support the reliability and performance of our global cloud-native Kubernetes platform and its services. You will:

  • Build robust, easy-to-use Kubernetes platforms and tools.
  • Apply cloud-native reliability best practices.
  • Write clear, performant and maintainable code.
  • Debug issues in distributed cloud-native systems.
  • Educate and influence engineering teams on best practices.
  • Create self-service documentation for engineers.
  • Continuously improve platform reliability and cost efficiency.
  • Champion new ideas and take calculated risks.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include 7+ years in platform engineering and container orchestration, experience in building Kubernetes clusters (AKS, EKS, etc.), and proficiency with languages like Python, Go, C#, or Java. Familiarity with CI/CD, GitHub, ArgoCD, observability tools, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi) is expected. Empathy towards software engineers and strong collaboration skills round out this role.

Work Location & Benefits

This role is based in the Seattle office with a hybrid schedule (onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, remote Mondays with exceptions). Benefits include competitive salary and 401k match, ample paid time off, robust health plans, fitness and developmental programs, and office snacks.

Additional Information

The compensation is a total package including base pay between USD 134,250 to USD 214,800, bonus, and stock awards.
