Your Impact as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer
In the APX SRE organization, you will deliver practical, scalable solutions that support the reliability and performance of our mission-critical, cloud-native global Kubernetes platform. Your responsibilities include:
- Building robust, easy-to-use Kubernetes platforms and tools.
- Exemplifying cloud-native site reliability best practices.
- Writing clear, maintainable, and performant code.
- Debugging problems in cloud-native distributed systems.
- Educating the engineering organization on architectural patterns.
- Providing detailed documentation for self-service.
- Continuously improving our Kubernetes platform for cost efficiency and reliability.
- Taking calculated risks and championing new ideas.
Work Location & Schedule
This role is based in our Boston office and follows a hybrid schedule. You will work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays.
What You Bring
You should have 7+ years of experience in platform engineering and container orchestration, with hands-on experience in building cloud platforms on Azure and AWS, Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, etc.), programming (Python, Go, C#, Java), CI/CD, observability tools, and Infrastructure as Code.
