Software Engineering Manager - Knowledge Graph
On the Entity Graph Squad, you will build and scale the knowledge graph that powers how law enforcement agencies understand and act on critical incident data. This graph is central to our platform, helping connect interactions, evidence, and suspects in real time.
Your Impact
- Lead a high-performing team of 8 engineers.
- Build a multi-jurisdictional data sharing platform.
- Design a robust entity matching and deduplication engine.
- Create a rules-based data retention system balancing compliance and privacy.
- Drive engineering best practices in scalability, data integrity, and observability.
What You'll Do
Location: Onsite at our Seattle, WA office (Hybrid - Tuesday through Friday)
Reports to: Senior Engineering Manager
Direct Reports: 8 engineers ranging from junior to senior levels
- Manage and mentor your team through technical challenges.
- Conduct design and code reviews and offer architectural guidance.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Security to deliver foundational infrastructure.
- Implement engineering and operational best practices.
- Partner with leadership on hiring strategy and sustainable team growth.
What You Bring
- 7+ years in software engineering with technical leadership experience.
- 3+ years of people management experience.
- Proven record in planning and delivering overlapping projects.
- Ability to define and evolve an engineering culture.
- Strong communication for diverse audiences from teams to senior leadership.

The Pay
The starting base pay ranges from USD 150,000 to USD 240,000 depending on various factors. Total compensation includes bonus and stock awards.
