About the Role

AXON Networks is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer Microservices to drive the testing of our AI-driven, analytics-based orchestration platform and next-gen high-speed routers. This role focuses on testing microservices, databases, and supporting DevOps initiatives in a distributed architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and execute functional, integration, and performance tests for microservices.
  • Implement and maintain scalable testing infrastructure for microservices.
  • Perform comprehensive database testing including SQL queries and schema validation.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployments via CI/CD pipelines.
  • Utilize tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes to optimize testing.
  • Work closely with QA, development, and DevOps teams worldwide.
  • Provide detailed testing reports and documentation on QA metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in microservices testing and architecture.
  • Expertise in Python or Go and hands-on database experience (Redis, Postgres, MongoDB).
  • Strong background in DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Gitlab.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and containerized applications.
  • Knowledge of QA automation frameworks (e.g., Robot, Postman) and scripting languages like Python and Bash.
  • Understanding of networking protocols and distributed system challenges.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Proficiency with test management tools like JIRA and Xray.
