Position Summary
The Senior Campaign Analyst will play a pivotal role in developing analytical strategies for industrial decarbonization, particularly in clean energy procurement. This role involves close collaboration with campaign directors and requires expertise in power systems, data analysis, and advocacy. The analyst will lead the technical development of the U.S. Cement Mapping Tool and contribute to emerging clean electricity initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Power Sector and Energy Systems Expertise: Apply utility sector fluency to map facility-electricity provider relationships, identify clean energy constraints, and surface decarbonization pathways.
- Quantitative Analysis and Technical Production: Manage the full technical lifecycle of the U.S. Cement Mapping Tool, from data consolidation to a production-ready interactive web tool.
- Translating Analysis for Advocacy and Public Audiences: Synthesize and communicate findings through clear narratives for various stakeholders, including policymakers, advocates, and producers.
- Adaptability and Bias Toward Action: Deliver projects on defined timelines, make scope judgments, and remain productive amidst evolving organizational priorities.
Essential Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in power systems analysis, energy economics, utility planning, or energy policy.
- Demonstrated understanding of electricity markets, grid operations, and decarbonization pathways.
- Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar.
- Experience with data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, GIS) and integrating spatial, environmental, and policy datasets.
- Proven track record of delivering public-facing outputs on time.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical analysis for non-expert audiences.
- Experience presenting analysis externally or a clear aptitude for doing so.
- Skill in moving from analysis to campaign-ready recommendations.
- Ability to flex across multiple projects and work under conditions of incomplete information.

Location, Travel & Availability

Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary for this position is $117,000, with no negotiation. Industrious Labs offers competitive benefits, including 100% employer-paid health coverage, a work-from-home stipend, up to 5% 401k employer match, 11 paid holidays, and unlimited vacation.
