About the Role
Axios is a media company dedicated to providing trustworthy, award-winning news content in an audience-first format. As a Business Development Associate, you will help secure, maintain, and grow relationships for Axios’ core media team with thoughtful outreach and exceptional service to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for identifying and developing new revenue opportunities by managing top of funnel sales pipelines through:
- Researching and prospecting new business leads
- Organizing inbound interest
- Conducting outbound outreach
- Collaborating with the growing sales team
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven customer or client service experience
- Experience managing sales pipelines
- Strong project management and time management skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
- Proficiency in CRM software

Compensation and Benefits
The starting salary for this role ranges from $54,080 to $70,720 annually based on a 40-hour work week and factors including location and experience. Location and Work Arrangement
Candidates must reside in Miami, Philadelphia, Austin, DC, Atlanta, or Chicago.
