Role Overview

The Regulatory Compliance Counsel - Bribery & Corruption role supports high-impact compliance initiatives, including FCPA investigations, third-party due diligence, sanctions screening, and escalation reviews in highly regulated industries.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on and conduct investigations under FCPA and related anti-bribery laws.
  • Perform third-party due diligence, PEP checks, denied party screenings, and OFAC risk assessments.
  • Support anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and AML compliance programs including policy development and internal monitoring.
  • Partner with compliance teams to identify, review, and escalate potential red flags or violations.
  • Assist with financial crimes reviews, risk assessments, and compliance remediation projects.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Applicants should have between 3–12 years of experience in anti-bribery, corruption, sanctions, or financial crimes compliance, along with a strong working knowledge of FCPA, OFAC, and global anti-corruption frameworks. Prior in-house experience, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a Juris Doctor (JD) with valid U.S. licensure are required. Experience with AML programs, third-party lifecycle management, and compliance monitoring systems is a plus.

Compensation, Benefits & Location

This position offers competitive compensation starting at $120,000, a comprehensive benefits package, and professional development resources. Although Axiomites work predominantly remotely, some client requirements may necessitate on-site presence.
