Senior Solution Architect Carrier Networks

About the Role

As a Senior Solution Architect Carrier Networks, you will design high-performance IP/MPLS architectures for large service provider environments, balancing automation, design, and practical application. You will work on complex metro and backbone scenarios, define standards, and implement solutions focused on maximum service availability. If you enjoy shaping modern networks, pushing platforms like Juniper or Nokia to their limits, and elegantly solving complex requirements, you will feel professionally at home with us.

What You Can Expect

• Consulting our service provider customers on the further development of their networks.
• Developing solution concepts for IP/MPLS-based networks and services, and documenting them in High Level and Low Level Designs.
• Automating operational processes in complex network environments.
• Testing and implementing concepts and detailed solutions.
• Preparing and conducting training sessions and workshops.
• Providing technical guidance to team members in projects.
• Presenting our solutions to management and technical teams.
• Participating in remote on-call services.

What You Bring

• Completed degree in (Technical) Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Technology, or comparable qualification through practical experience and vendor certifications (Juniper, Nokia).
• Many years of practical experience in planning and implementing carrier networks.
• Very good (ideally certified) knowledge of Juniper or Nokia and in Network Automation.
• Willingness for occasional travel within Germany.
• Teamwork skills, analytical thinking, communication skills.
• Fluent German and good English skills.
