About the Claims Intern Role at AXA XL

AXA XL offers a unique 10-week paid Claims Intern program designed to sharpen your skills, broaden your industry knowledge, and provide you with real-world experience. You will work alongside talented professionals and leaders, gaining insight into how we create innovative insurance solutions for mid-sized companies and global multinationals.
This internship is designed as a launching pad for your career. You will gain invaluable experience, meet inspiring professionals, and discover what it takes to succeed in a fast-moving industry. You’ll be an integral part of a welcoming, innovative Claims team that values your ideas and efforts.
As a Claims Intern, you will receive comprehensive training to better understand Claims and other multi-lines within Professional and Casualty Claims. Your responsibilities will include completing ad hoc and project-based tasks as needed, and actively participating in Claims negotiations. You will report directly to the Head of Multinational Casualty Claims.

- Learn from the Best: Gain insight into the diverse roles of insurance professionals across various Claims functions.
- Hands-On Experience: Contribute to meaningful, cross-functional projects that will showcase your developing skills, culminating in a final presentation to Senior Leadership.
- Discover Our Business: Develop a foundational understanding of AXA XL’s retail insurance and reinsurance operations.
- Network & Grow: Connect with leaders and technical specialists throughout the company via dedicated intern events, activities, and daily interactions.
