Mainframe Security Lead

AXA Group Operations is seeking a Cyber Defense Security Designer specialized in IBM Mainframe Z Series and iSeries to maintain and improve the overall security posture of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role involves working closely with the security team, distributed entities, and stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities, develop remediation strategies, and guide the security roadmap for IBM Mainframe and iSeries systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular security assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Support teams by implementing and maintaining security policies and standards.
• Perform detailed assessments of operating systems and infrastructure components.
• Coordinate security incident response and investigations.
• Provide security guidance on IBM Mainframe Z Series and iSeries systems.
• Implement security controls for new systems and projects.
• Contribute to security awareness training for staff and contractors.
• Identify and mitigate potential security threats proactively.
• Co-lead the product vision and development of Cyber Security products.

Required Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years experience in IT security operations, specialized in Mainframe environments.
• Relevant IBM Mainframe security certifications are a plus.
• Experience with tools such as RACF, zSecure, Syslog, and more.
• Strong knowledge of IBM Mainframe security standards and frameworks.
• Experience with SSO, Active Directory, LDAP, PKI, and integration of APIs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with a broad range of technologies including Cloud, SOC, SIEM, IAM, and more.
