Overview
The Compliance Assurance & Project Manager at AXA Group Operations ensures adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies by conducting compliance audits, developing risk management strategies, and providing training on compliance matters. Reporting to the Compliance Assurance Manager, this role supports AXA GO across regions including Paris and Spain, addressing issues from financial crime to international regulatory matters.
Main Responsibilities
- Compliance Control Framework: Contribute to compliance, data privacy, and AI risk assessments; ensure reporting to Senior Management and AXA Group Compliance functions; align compliance activities with Group Standards; foster coordination with Risk Management, Internal Control, and other support functions.
- Regulatory Transformation: Lead projects to comply with new regulations, improve technical capabilities, report regulatory changes, and drive transformation initiatives.
- Global Governance: Collaborate with Compliance & Data Privacy teams, coordinate cross-functional projects, pilot strategic deliverables, and prepare documentation for operational and strategic meetings.
- Monitoring & Awareness: Keep teams updated on regulatory trends, monitor training on compliance risks, conduct training sessions, and implement corrective actions.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5+ years experience in Compliance, Risk Management or Internal Control within technology, insurance, or regulated sectors. Must possess operational knowledge in areas such as General compliance, Financial Crime, International Sanctions, Risk Management, Data Privacy, or Internal Control. Full professional proficiency in English is required, with additional insurance or health sector knowledge as a plus.
