About the role

Fullstack Software Engineer Python/React

To support the digital transformation of the company, focused on automating and simplifying business processes, you will join the Operational Performance Department as an experienced Fullstack Developer, a key player in business innovation.

Your role will be to design, develop, deploy, and maintain web application solutions and automations (Robot/RPA) to improve the operational performance of the Professional & Business IARD underwriting teams.

You will work closely with business experts, IT teams, and project teams to transform functional requirements into robust, scalable, and secure digital solutions in the Cloud.

Key Missions:

  • Contribute to the annual development roadmap, in conjunction with the team lead & internal clients, and to the overall delivery management of the team.
  • Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • Design and develop the backend in Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
  • Create and maintain RPA scripts and robots (e.g., UIPath, Power Automate, Python, NodeJS).
  • Implement solutions that meet business needs in management & underwriting, with strong business logic.
  • Participate in the modeling of application architectures.
  • Deploy and operate solutions in Azure Cloud (App Services, Functions, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes…).
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and compliance of developments.
  • Gather requirements from business users and transform them into concrete solutions.
  • Challenge needs with a focus on value and technical feasibility.
  • Document developments (functional + technical).
  • Participate in the definition and improvement of development standards.
  • Perform automated tests and ensure code quality.
  • Communicate on the progress and use of deployed solutions, using KPIs.
  • Train operational staff as part of the deployment of applications.

Your Profile:

Technical Skills:
  • Higher education in IT (Bac +5) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Web development.
  • Proficiency in Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI) and React JS stacks.
  • Proven experience in an Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps environment (Docker, Kubernetes, Git).
  • Ideally, experience with RPA subjects (e.g., UIPath, Power Automate).
Transversal Skills:
  • Strong business acumen in the IARD insurance sector.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid IT and business context.
  • Good digital culture, with a strong interest in new technologies and artificial intelligence.
  • Strong interest in IT project management and interpersonal relationships within a company.
