Your Role and Missions as a Data Scientist IA/GenIA

Within the Data pole of the AXA France IARD (Property and Casualty Insurance) department, we are looking for a Data Scientist (M/F) specialized in AI and GenAI programs. You will intervene on various AI and GenAI Use Cases meeting the business needs of the department.

As a Data Scientist IA/GenIA, your main missions will include:

Development of IA and GenIA Use Cases

• Collaborate with business teams to define the needs and objectives of AI projects.
• Design and implement innovative AI and GenAI use cases to improve internal processes and/or customer experience.
• Analyze and interpret complex data to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Develop and optimize predictive models and machine learning algorithms.

Management of IA Use Cases

• Supervise the end-to-end implementation of AI projects (from conception to production) in collaboration with business teams and our IA Factory teams.
• Ensure the monitoring of model and algorithm performance, in conjunction with the IA Factory.

Compliance with the IA Act

• Ensure the compliance of AI projects with current regulations, particularly the « IA Act » regulation.
• Guarantee the transparency and ethics of the developed models.

IA and GenIA Expertise

• Share your expertise in AI and GenIA with internal teams.
• Conduct technological watch to stay informed about market innovations and trends.

IA Training and Support

• Train and support teams on best practices in AI and GenAI.
• Develop training materials and practical guides to facilitate the adoption of new technologies.

Your Profile

With a higher education degree from an Engineering School or University in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or an equivalent field, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of classic machine learning algorithms, as well as DeepLearning and GenAI (LLM, RAG…).
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as Python, Pyspark, Azure ML/Databricks, Azure DevOps.

Transversal Skills

• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with cross-functional departments.
• Sense of innovation and initiative.
• Ability to simplify technical subjects.
• Ability to train and support teams.
• Knowledge of insurance environments (especially in Property and Casualty) is appreciated.
