Purpose of Position
Our Account Management team at Awin Global is looking for an Account Manager to work on affiliate programs for advertisers across various sectors. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your analytical and strategic skills. You will serve as a primary point of contact for clients on the Awin network, providing best practice advice and recommendations for optimizing affiliate programs. As an active team member, you will implement strategies to improve client accounts, offering guidance and training throughout the process. The position involves devising innovative account management ideas to grow affiliate revenues for your clients and contribute to the Account Management team's overall success.
You will gain exposure to a wide range of brands, receive in-depth training across multiple subjects, and have opportunities to collaborate on broader projects. The role demands bringing innovation and strategy to your clients and maintaining engagement with both clients and publishers to deliver sophisticated results. This position is ideal for anyone looking to advance their career in a fast-paced and dynamic industry.
Key Tasks
- Deliver excellent service and relationship management to clients and agencies for assigned accounts.
- Act as the internal owner for all assigned accounts, providing information on metrics, objectives, and status when required.
- Generate reports and provide performance analysis, ensuring commentary is accurate, insightful, and aimed at improving activity.
- Take ownership of and streamline processes.
- Conduct regular client calls, demonstrating reactivity and support for client goals.
- Initiate and implement ideas to grow affiliate activities in line with client needs and assist clients in creating quarterly and yearly strategies.
- Produce competitor benchmarks for clients, proactively advising on industry trends and identifying merchant opportunities.
- Assume 100% ownership of assigned account delivery and service levels, proactively providing insights to the Team Leader.
- Build relevant and comprehensive client roadmaps to help achieve success.
- Optimize existing publisher relationships and recruit new and exciting publisher opportunities for advertisers.
- Present confidently, both internally and externally, on various topics.
- Ensure that you and your clients are up to date with all technology and tracking optimizations, making the best use of all campaigns.
Skills & Expertise
- Enthusiastic, committed, and passionate about digital marketing.
- 1+ years of account management experience in a relevant digital marketing role.
- Numerate with a good level of knowledge of MS Office packages.
- Ability to see the bigger picture and identify areas of opportunity and risk.
- Professional with a proven track record of successful client and team relationship building, including strong networking skills.
- Seeks ownership and readily accepts accountability.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
- Confident and excellent communicator with keen attention to detail.
- Competent and experienced with creating forecasts and justifying the rationale.
