Overview

The Data, Reporting and Regulatory Manager at Aviva is a pivotal role focused on leading data governance across ALPI and managing regulatory reporting within the COO function. This role ensures compliance obligations are met, high-quality reporting is delivered, and robust data governance is maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks and quality standards.
  • Own regulatory reporting and oversight compliance activities.
  • Manage MI and performance reporting cycles for key stakeholders.
  • Oversee Reporting, MI, and insight deliverables ensuring consistency.
  • Act as operational sponsor for regulatory projects and deputise for the COO.

Skills & Experiences

  • Experience in insurance/financial services operations and data governance.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g. CBI, CPC, GDPR).
  • Proven experience in MI development, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Experience with regulators, auditors, and external consultants.
