Solutions Architect
AVI-SPL Middle East is seeking a Solutions Architect to provide strategic guidance and technical expertise in Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) technologies. This role involves engaging with customers, leading technical workshops, and partnering with global practice leads to drive sales opportunities and support strategic goals. You will act as a Tier 4 technical resource for key projects and customer engagements, representing AVI-SPL as a leader in innovation and technology.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance to the Tech & Innovation group on current and future technology trends in Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) and adjacent technologies.
- Engage with UCC & Workplace management business development personnel to meet customers, discover sales opportunities, and assist in opportunity development through technical workshops and customer engagement activities.
- Partner with UCC Global Practice leads to provide technical support and guidance for strategic UCC Practice goals.
- Serve as a Tier 4 technical resource for key customer opportunities, high-profile projects, and Quickstart Pilot Programs.
- Represent and position AVI-SPL as a global leader in innovation and technology through media opportunities, trade magazine interviews, articles, and trade show presentations.
- Coordinate with the procurement department for preferred partner vendor selection and utilization within the internal technical community.
- Engage directly with preferred vendor technical leadership to evaluate products and discuss technology roadmaps.
- Develop UCC training strategies for internal departments based on newly rolled-out technologies, tools, and processes.
- Partner with senior leadership to understand business needs and align engineering efforts with company direction.
- Participate in the development of projects involving diverse challenges and cross-departmental coordination for new business, innovation, products, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain predefined, repeatable solutions to improve sales velocity, executed margins, preferred partner utilization, and customer experience.
- Drive a strong customer service mindset within the internal technical community.
- Build long-term relationships within the team and among peers by fostering an environment of accomplishment, encouragement, and innovation.
- Travel to regional offices to interface directly with technical leadership and team members as needed.
- Undertake special projects as required.
Skills and Abilities
- Minimum of a 4-year degree or comparable industry experience required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role focused on Service Strategy and Service Design.
- 5+ years of experience in the audio visual or collaboration industry is preferred.
- ITIL Foundations certification or comparable industry certification required; ITIL Expert preferred.
Working Environment
