Role Overview: Software Test Engineer
At Averna, your expertise in software engineering will help our customers ensure product quality. You will design, develop, integrate, and support advanced software solutions tailored for clients in the Bay Area and beyond. We encourage innovative ideas and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate advanced software solutions
- Lead projects with multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Architect complex systems and modularize projects
- Develop methodologies enhancing performance and reliability
- Evaluate system architectures, validation plans, and risk assessments
- Perform code reviews and solve technical challenges
- Integrate software with hardware components
Qualifications
Mandatory: Bachelor's in Software, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; minimum 3 years of experience with Python (strong proficiency), PLC, and LabVIEW (NI certifications are a plus).
Desired: Experience in hardware automation, test & measurements frameworks, networking protocols, Git and Linux skills, with strong debugging and analytical abilities.
