Technical Development Coordinator at Avenue Code

Avenue Code is seeking a Technical Development Coordinator (Engineering Lead) to join a global FinTech innovator rapidly expanding through strategic growth and acquisition. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the technical compass, expertly bridging business strategy with high-quality engineering. You will ensure the continuous evolution and thriving of a scalable, microservices-based architecture. This opportunity is ideal for a natural mentor and skilled architect ready for their next challenge.

What you will do:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing development team, making critical decisions on architecture, design, and code standards.
  • Define and maintain microservices and Hexagonal Architecture, strictly adhering to SOLID, DDD, and Clean Code principles in all development.
  • Actively participate in the development of critical components and conduct rigorous code reviews to uphold excellence.
  • Collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Product Owners, and various stakeholders to translate complex business needs into sustainable technical roadmaps.
  • Champion CI/CD, observability, and cloud best practices to significantly enhance delivery speed and system reliability.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7+ years in Software Development with at least 2 years in a formal technical leadership role.
  • Tech Stack: Mastery of Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js. Strong hands-on experience with Next.js/React.
  • Architecture: Deep understanding of Microservices, Hexagonal Architecture, and Event-Driven systems (Pub/Sub, Kafka, or RabbitMQ).
  • Data: Proficiency with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Leadership: A proactive leader with strong decision-making abilities.
  • Language: Professional proficiency in Spanish (due to team/client context) and at least B1 English.

Nice To Have Skills:

  • Experience in the FinTech or B2B sectors.
  • Cloud expertise (GCP preferred) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of Serverless architectures and Observability tools (Tracing, Metrics, Logs).
