Job Description
About The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced, highly collaborative Mid/Senior UX Researcher to partner with internal teams and enhance our client's user journeys through comprehensive research. You’ll be hands-on in identifying value-add opportunities, executing high-volume research requests, from competitor analysis to MVP flow validation, and driving the actionable insights that empower the business.
This opportunity is Hybrid in Toronto (2x per week).
Responsibilities
- Lead high-priority research projects from end-to-end, including Contextual Block, Checkout, and Mobile App initiatives.
- Oversee MVP flow user tests and Top Navigation testing to ensure digital products meet both user needs and business monetization goals.
- Analyze and share insights from VOC (Voice of Customer) and general research requests, delivering high-quality Research Decks and reports.
- Proactively identify opportunities within the digital ecosystem (Mobile App, Website, Ticketing) to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Guide and provide feedback to other designers on the "what, why, and how" of research methodologies.
- Present findings to diverse stakeholders and assemble the right audience to ensure research results translate into concrete action.
- Delegate tasks, divide complex work effectively, and lead projects with full autonomy.
Required Qualifications
- Have solid experience managing a high-volume portfolio of research requests efficiently.
- Deep proficiency in core research methods, including usability testing, guerrilla testing, and automated feedback collection.
- Experience with specialized methodologies such as TreeJack testing, Competitive Analysis, and Information Architecture (NavIA) evaluation.
- Proven ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable Results Decks and Research Reports.
- Strong track record as a proactive self-starter who advocates for user-centricity and isn't afraid to speak up within internal teams.
- Skilled in organizing, delegating, and dividing complex workloads to conquer project goals autonomously.
- Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate findings to cross-functional teams and leadership.
