Job Overview: Storage & Backup and Monitoring Automation Tech Lead
This role focuses on ensuring the availability, integrity, and recoverability of organizational data through advanced storage and backup solutions. It also involves the continuous observation and optimization of IT infrastructure and applications using monitoring and automation tools to provide real-time visibility, streamline tasks, and enable rapid incident response.
Key Responsibilities: Storage & Backup Management
- Lead deployment, optimization, and lifecycle management of SAN/NAS storage and backup platforms.
- Ensure compliance with data retention and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and improve backup and disaster recovery processes.
- Oversee incident response, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Conduct regular reviews of storage utilization, backup success, and recovery readiness.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with third-party support.
- Support audits, remediation, and governance activities.
- Guide L2 analysts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure secure decommissioning of end-of-life hardware.
- Drive continuous improvement and stay current with emerging technologies.
