Overview

The Generative AI Product Manager at Avant thrives at the intersection of data, product, and innovation. This role is about scaling AI impact by unlocking value from the Databricks data platform, designing AI-powered products, and enabling AI across teams.

What You Will Do at Avant

  • Prototype & Pilot AI Use Cases: Build MVPs and run pilots leveraging Databricks and AI tools.
  • Scale AI Agents & Workflows: Deploy AI copilots and automate high-value internal workflows.
  • Partner on AI Roadmap: Collaborate with business units to identify and validate AI opportunities.
  • Enable AI Adoption: Lead enablement sessions, build shared repositories, and integrate AI literacy.
  • Measure Impact: Define and track metrics on adoption, efficiency, and solution quality.
  • Shape AI Governance: Establish standards around safety, compliance, and responsible AI use.

Why You’re a Fit at Avant

  • Strong AI tool proficiency (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.).
  • 5+ years in product or program management, preferably in tech or fintech.
  • Data fluent with SQL and experience on Databricks.
  • A systemic thinker who connects business workflows, data pipelines, and AI opportunities.
  • Excellent communicator aligning technical and business outcomes.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience embedding generative AI in fintech or data-driven products.
  • Familiarity with AI infrastructure and tools like LangChain, vector databases, and LLM APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks for ML models or AI experimentation.
  • Track record of shipping AI-powered tools.

Compensation

Base salary range is between USD 165,000 and 185,000 per year, with additional incentives including an annual bonus.
