Avanade's highly skilled Data & AI Practice seeks analytical and ambitious data professionals to join their globally recognized team. As an AI Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients to leverage data-driven insights for tackling complex business challenges and making informed decisions.

This position requires expert-level knowledge to support both sales motions and project execution within Avanade's Data & AI portfolio. A particular emphasis is placed on AI systems that utilize Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services, deep learning, and machine learning. A comprehensive understanding of applying data science to solve business problems and deliver tangible business value is crucial. The successful candidate will effectively engage with clients to understand their needs, communicate complex AI concepts clearly, and drive positive business outcomes. Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, including business stakeholders, product owners, data engineers, and other data scientists, is a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate complex business requirements and strategic goals into effective AI solutions using strong business acumen and data science expertise.
• Analyze current business practices, processes, and procedures, while proactively identifying future business opportunities for AI integration.
• Provide high-level and detailed architectural expertise during sales processes and project implementations, offering support to peers across various analytics teams.
• Identify potential risks, document assumptions, and develop accurate work effort estimates for AI projects.
• Cultivate strong relationships with other Solution Architects and actively contribute to promoting solution architecture best practices throughout Avanade.
• As a senior member of the Avanade technical community, you will provide valuable coaching and mentorship to motivate and inspire junior colleagues within your team and across the organization.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in specifying robust architecture and models that effectively address business needs while maintaining a balance of cost, capability, and risk.
• A strong understanding of the value proposition associated with implementing AI solutions.
• Practical experience with Azure ML or Databricks ML Stack platforms and integrating Generative AI, Virtual Agents, and Microsoft Bot Framework.
• Ability to perform data profiling, modeling, cataloging, and mapping essential for the technical design and construction of data flows.
• Proficiency in explaining complex analytical methodologies and concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to develop technical visions, high-level architectures, and delivery roadmaps for large-scale programs.
