Job Description

The Mobile QA Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications across iOS and Android. This role requires high expertise and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases.
  • Analyze test results, identify blockers, and generate complex test data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into end-to-end scenarios.
  • Maintain professional relationships with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders.
  • Continuously update skills in mobile testing tools and technologies.
  • Contribute to testing standards and methodologies to enhance quality assurance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in software testing, with 3 years in mobile testing.
  • Expertise in testing mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and methodologies.
  • Proficient with test management tools like JIRA and Zephyr.
  • Experience with advanced testing tools such as Charles Proxy, SQL Developer, and Postman.
  • Skilled in automation tools (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or equivalent).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
  • Knowledge of Avaloq's product suite is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple high-priority tasks.
