What You'll Do

As an AI & Automation Systems Specialist at Avalara, you will guide enterprise-wide adoption of AI tools and automation platforms to enhance productivity and operational efficiency. You will work remotely with Avalara's Corporate IT team, partnering with various departments to implement and manage AI solutions including ChatGPT, Microsoft CoPilot, n8n, and other enterprise platforms.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain AI-powered solutions and workflow automations using tools like n8n and Microsoft Power Automate.
• Partner with teams to identify manual processes and guide automation initiatives.
• Manage integrations across enterprise systems with REST APIs and secure practices through Okta.
• Gather requirements, deliver automations, track metrics, and support business adoption.

Requirements for Success

• Minimum of 5 years experience with AI tools like ChatGPT and Microsoft CoPilot.
• Proven experience building automation workflows with n8n, Power Automate, and similar platforms.
• Proficient in working with REST APIs and scripting for automation.
• Experience configuring and maintaining identity management via Okta.
