Role Summary

As the Mergers & Acquisitions Lead, you will work collaboratively with senior leadership to define and execute M&A strategies. You will be instrumental in identifying, analyzing, and executing transactions that integrate both traditional finance and crypto-native businesses into the Avalanche ecosystem.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define M&A strategy aligned with long-term vision.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential acquisition targets in traditional and crypto sectors.
  • Lead comprehensive due diligence, including financial, commercial, technical, and legal reviews.
  • Oversee complex financial and valuation analyses, applying innovative methodologies.
  • Lead deal negotiations for strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering, product, legal, and marketing teams.

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum 5 years in Financial Services, specifically Banking.
  • Bachelor's in Finance or related field with a strong academic background; MBA is a plus.
  • Expertise in building complex financial models and executing deals.
  • Outstanding quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Based in the NYC area for a Hybrid work environment.
