Overview
Autowhale is building the backbone of institutional crypto trading with a scalable platform merging execution systems with portfolio and fund management. This remote role is open to candidates from Europe, CIS, SEA, and India.
What You’ll Own
As a Full Stack Engineer Digital Asset Platform, you will drive real features by delivering key backend components in areas including DeFi protocols, institutional crypto trading, portfolio management, and analytics pipelines. You will design and maintain Python microservices with a strong emphasis on test coverage, observability, performance, and maintainability. You will also create scripts and tools to automate deployment, monitoring, and operations while participating in peer reviews and defining best practices.

- Flask, Web3.py
- PostgreSQL, MongoDB, timeseries data
- Docker, AWS, CI/CD pipelines
- CCXT, Git, asynchronous patterns, caching
Your Background
You have 3+ years of professional Python experience in production-grade systems, strong skills in data modeling for financial and analytics workloads, and are comfortable with blockchain/Web3 integrations. A solid understanding of scalability fundamentals and excellent communication skills in English are required.
Bonus Points
- Experience in Rust, Go, JS, or C++
- Familiarity with DeFi strategies and trading workflows
- Prior integration with exchange APIs or financial systems
- Understanding of double-entry ledger systems and cross-chain protocols
