Sr. Threat Intelligence Analyst at Autodesk
As a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst at Autodesk, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our threat intelligence program. Your primary focus will be on producing intelligence products that assist Autodesk decision-makers and stakeholders in making informed decisions. Your efforts will concentrate on addressing Priority Intelligence Requirements through rigorous analysis, report writing, and delivering intelligence briefs. The ideal candidate will excel in analyzing collected data to produce detailed and actionable intelligence products and will be adept at providing both technical and non-technical briefs to leadership and business stakeholders.
The intelligence team is split into two cells: collection and analysis. The collection cell is responsible for maintaining and obtaining data for intelligence requirements and intelligence-related automation work. The analysis cell is responsible for transforming the collected information into intelligence based on the intelligence requirements from the stakeholders. This position directly supports the Trusted Insider, Incident Response, Data Engineering, and Threat Hunting teams, as well as business-focused teams, providing comprehensive reports and intelligence assessments to inform strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Utilize structured analytic techniques to develop tailored intelligence products and provide threat assessments to Autodesk decision-makers.
- Create intelligence products that are timely, actionable, relevant, and accurate to assist decision-makers and stakeholders in making informed decisions. Main intelligence products address: intelligence requirements, request for information, and flash briefs.
- Present intelligence findings to technical and non-technical groups and obtain feedback to enhance future intelligence products.
- Track, analyze, and report on nation-state and advanced cyber-criminal groups.
- Share finished intelligence and concepts with approved external groups, ISACs, and other relevant memberships.
- Stay updated with the latest threat intelligence trends and share relevant insights with the team.
- Continuously evaluate and improve threat intelligence processes and tools to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
- Maintain and update wiki articles on general intelligence principles and methodologies to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.
- Assist the intel collections cell with the development, management, and production of Intelligence Requirements.
- Provide insights and feedback to the intel collections cell on collected data and scripting/automations/AI output.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of industry experience in threat intelligence.
- Advanced knowledge of intelligence operations including Intelligence Requirement Framework, intelligence cycle, intelligence estimates, WEP wording, ATT&CK, ACH, 5W|2H, I&W, COAs.
- Proficiency in using structured analytical techniques to produce actionable intelligence products.
- Demonstrated expertise in crafting clear, concise, and comprehensive intelligence reports on a frequent basis. Proficiency in structuring reports to highlight key findings, methodologies, and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills with proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Capability to develop metrics to quantify threat intelligence improvements over time, providing measurable insights into program effectiveness.
- Ability to transform complex data into accessible and actionable insights for various audiences.
- A moderate capability of scripting and AI agent creation is a bonus, though not required.
- BA/BS in computer science, information security, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Any relevant security certifications like FOR587, GCTI, CCTIM, CISSP, or GCIH.
