Autodesk is seeking a Senior Experience Designer to significantly influence the future of software development within the company, particularly concerning its agentic AI platform. This critical role focuses on providing agentic and product design expertise across all internal developer experiences at Autodesk.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine agentic and product experiences for the internal software development lifecycle.
• Lead cross-functional exploration, analysis, and problem-solving efforts, involving multiple complex systems and numerous stakeholders.
• Synthesize feedback and requirements, extend existing patterns, create net-new concepts, and champion customer-focused solutions.
• Conduct research and leverage data to inform decision-making processes.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of customer needs, technical capabilities, operational context, and business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

• An accessible portfolio demonstrating your ability to deliver best-in-class experiences.
• Effective communication and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Solid understanding of human-centered design practices and activities.
• Proficiency in working with AI platforms, tools, and technologies such as ChatGPT, Alexa, Siri, Perplexity, Claude, Hugging Face, Cursor, and Replit.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Framer.
• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in UX design, product design, or a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep experience designing generative AI experiences.
• Stays current with trends and advancements in UX and AI.
• Experience working as part of a platform team or environment.
