Position Overview

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Autodesk, you will work with leaders in engineering, product, and design to manage efforts that enhance product reliability, security, and trustworthiness for customers. You will lead programs and projects across a globally distributed 800+ person R&D organization, acting as the connective tissue that aligns teams and drives programs to successful completion.

You will serve as a central point of contact for Centers of Excellence and collaborate with the Technical Program Management team to implement processes that support business objectives and improve organizational efficiency.

A successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and communication-savvy with a focus on on-time delivery and efficient project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead programs and projects ensuring on-time delivery and outcome.
  • Create and maintain timelines, project plans, and dashboards.
  • Track key performance metrics and conduct regular audits.
  • Identify project risks and proactively manage blockers.
  • Coordinate decision-making among stakeholders and document outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product teams within Construction R&D and across Autodesk.
  • Establish and promote best practices and tooling standards.
  • Coach product development leads on project communications.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in managing complex software projects across multiple teams.
  • Strong background in software development and familiarity with large platforms.
  • Experience with software engineering methodologies and lifecycle practices.
  • Proven success in delivering projects for remote or globally dispersed teams.
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
