Job Description
Position Overview
Are you a software developer passionate about building and scaling cloud services for world-class design and construction solutions? Join Autodesk's Forma Data Management team, a group within Autodesk AEC Construction R&D, to develop reliable and trusted SaaS products for global customers.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with scrum teams to meet product and customer requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, reliable, fault-tolerant systems.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs through effective solutions.
- Conduct peer code reviews and engage in technical design discussions.
- Share best practices and contribute to team achievements.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and OOP.
- Experience in Node.js backend programming and relational databases (e.g., Postgres).
- Skilled in developing and integrating RESTful web services.
- Good understanding of web architecture and cloud service technologies.
- Ability to work in an Agile team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS services and additional database technologies.
- Solid problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex systems.
- Familiarity with Linux/CentOS environments.
