Senior Consulting Project Manager

Position Overview

As a Senior Consulting Project Manager at Autodesk, you will be instrumental in delivering transformation projects for strategic customers within our Customer Success Consulting team. This role requires managing multiple medium to large projects or programs of work simultaneously, leading the execution and successful completion of all consulting services. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer expectations, contributing to our team's focus on world-class delivery. This position is based in North America, reporting to a PM Manager. For candidates in Costa Rica, the ability to work from the Belen office when required is essential.

Responsibilities

• Project manage consulting projects for Autodesk customers, including data migration, software development, and software training initiatives.
• Lead internal and external team members to achieve project goals effectively.
• Maintain clear communication among account and project team members, leading project review meetings.
• Translate project scope and vision into clear, actionable objectives for the team.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and control tools using standard Project Management (PM) and Professional Services Automation (PSA) software.
• Comply with internal reporting standards and practices.
• Perform thorough project plan analysis, evaluate risks, and develop robust risk mitigation plans.
• Support sales and business development efforts by drafting and reviewing proposals, writing scopes of work, and developing delivery estimates and resource requirements for solutions.
• Cultivate strong client and stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels throughout project lifecycles.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience as a project manager, preferably within a professional services or consulting environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• PMP / PMI qualification or equivalent certification is required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team to achieve project objectives and deliver projects that successfully go into production within defined cost and schedule constraints.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team comprising technical experts, sales professionals, subject matter experts, and other project managers.
• Capability to review and write scopes of work, project-related documentation, and develop and present professional presentations.
• Strong coaching and leadership skills, combined with a collaborative and inclusive mindset.
